Voith has commissioned GAW technologies to deliver starch preparation system as well as workingstation to the Speedsizer of PM5 for Stora Enso Narew. The papermachine will be erected in the northeast of Poland in Ostroleka (120 km off Warsaw), located at the Narew river.
The production line will produce 455.000 tonnes of testliner per year. The new PM5 will be constructed in particular for the production of light-weighted testliner sorts (65-140 g/m²) with a width of 8,6 meters and a design speed of 1.800 meters per minute.
The delivery is scheduled for middle of 2012.
GAW will continue the resource-saving master plan of Stora Enso through this investment in cooperation with Voith.
