Liansheng Pulp &Paper (Zhangzhou) awarded GAW with another order for PM4 and PM11

We did it again and again and again...

GAW receives repeated orders from the same customer for 12 years.
Another new order was awarded to GAW technologies GmbH by Liansheng Pulp &Paper (Zhangzhou) Co., Ltd.

Just after the smooth and successful startup for the GAW coating color kitchen in July 2025, wet GCC and wet end chemical plants for their PM2 -one of the biggest coated board machines worldwide- GAW has been again awarded by the customer Liansheng Pulp & Paper (Zhangzhou) for their new PM4 and PM11. The new machines will each produce 1,800 to/day of high-quality off-set printing grades with web-width of 10,515mm under an operating speed of 1,800m/min. ⚙️

Liansheng Pulp & Paper (Zhangzhou) Co., Ltd was founded in 2020 and is one of the leading producers of wood pulp and virgin fiber-based paper and board in China. Its sister company Liansheng Paper (Longhai) is already a long-established recycled packaging board producer. 💡

Since the 1st order awarded by Liansheng Longhai in the year of 2013 for their PM8, GAW has won the orders for the coating color kitchens (including wet GCC) for all of their coating board machines and also wet end chemical plants for all of their fine paper machines in the past 12 years. We witnessed the growth and development of this customer from a middle-sized brown paper producer into nowadays one of the biggest coated board producers in China. 🌏

GAW will supply the complete wet end chemical systems including the surface sizing starch preparation plants and wet cationzing plants for both PM4 and PM11. Also, the detailed mechanical and electrical engineering as well as erection supervision and startup service comes from the experts in Coating and Preparation systems.

PM4 will be put on stream in the 4th quarter 2026 while PM11 will be started up 3 months later. The kick-off meeting has been conducted by the GAW team (see picture: from left to right - Johann Illmaier, John Han and Karl Münzer) at the mill site together with CEC (China Engineering Co. Ltd) and the customer’s project team in August 2025.
